So I spent nearly every day for the past 2 weeks visiting 4 local Macy's, among other authorized dealers, in search of the Dee & Ricky Collaboration.
And at long last my search has finally come to an end 2 days ago.
Unfortunately, I went crazy during my quest... Here are some pics
Here is the 1st bunch: GLX-6900x-2, GA-110B-4, GWX-5600B, and GA-100-1A1
At first, I had no interest in this In4mation collaboration. However, it has really grown on me. I like the light red tint of the LCD. But I still preferred it if it had the blue tint that early pictures showed us (shown here: http://www.yournewwatch.com/i/l/casi...glx6900x-2.jpg)
Cool Shaka sign EL
This little guy is jammed back with neat functions in the body of a little 5600. Casio has really out done themselves this time. I really like the little cosmetic details it has too!
I really like the pink accents. There is a grid pattern on the solar panel which I really like. I'm probably wrong, but I haven't seen it on any other G's.
There is also a grid-type pattern that runs down the black band. It was quite difficult to capture on my phone's camera. But here they are
Finally, here is the Dee & Ricky Collaboration:
Lego inspiration has really got me in a building mood
I rather like the pattern on the box and tin.
After searching for 14 days in two states I finally tracked it down!
This is the only print/design on the band.
There are both positive and negative LCD display on this model. I tried to capture what the top portion (positive display) really looks like. If I could describe it, I'd say it has a quicksilver/mercury kind of feel to it. It isn't exactly mirrored like the Ocean Grey models, but it is silvery and the pixels look a bit faint.
The negative display speaks for itself, the numbers are yellow.
And lastly, here is a pic of the caseback. It is the same image that is on the lid of the tin, a cartoon faces of the twin brothers Dee & Ricky.
I really like how this models offers all these colors yet it doesn't look too flashy (IMO). I know many users disagree on negative and positive displays, so I think this model is amazing because it offers both alternatives.
So, yea, I lost my mind...I've got the G bug in a bad way! And this is only the tip of the iceberg. I bought these in a 2 day period. You guys should see how many Casios I've purchased since I last posted an update of my collection back in January. I'M GUNNING FOR YOU SJORS!!!!!
Anyways, thanks for taking a look fellas! I know these are crummy pics (and HUGE I didn't realize I had it set that way), but I wanted to share it with you all.
