Solar, Atomic/Radio, not-huge, with the *BEST* Legibility?

I've got a negative-dial 5610. It's great, but... it's not easy to read at a glance. Moreover, given the size of the case, the actual size of the current-time digits is pretty small... Way too much wasted space on the display!

So, I'm wondering what other g-shock (or tough solar, or pro-trek.. along these lines, anyway) watches are there that, quite simply, fit the following:

    - Gotta have radio-control, or atomic. Some kind of automatic time-synchronization (NOT bluetooth/smartwatch!)

    - Gotta be solar.

    - Display has to be legible. Time has to be VERY legible. If there's a way to have the digits take up as much display space as possible, that'd be great. Maybe some reflecting display-backing, too (idk.. silvered?)

    - And finally, not too big. For reference, I can pull off a square pretty easily, but the G-Steels are way too big.

    So... what would you suggest?

P.S. - if you have a highly legible option that's not atomic/solar, well, feel free to suggest anyway, I'm not adamant on those. As long as it's super-legible and not-huge :)

G-7800... you can adjust the contrast on these... plus the digits are yuge... but unfortunately, not solar/atomic

Another vote for the PRW-3100. Variety of versions, and the digits are YUUUUUGE!!!!

Or, the GW-5000. Digits not super large, but VERY good contrast and easy to read, IMO..

Sundsvall is about 1850 km away from Mainflingen, so atomic reception is questionable - at least on a regular basis. Your long and dark winters are the natural enemy of solar, if I were you, I would drop the ball on both. Now about legibility: from Casio you might want to consider the W-736H, its not a G but it is a darn good watch, highly legible, 10year batt and the vibe alarm puts it in a fine, yet very small league. However if you are looking for the absolute best display, get a Timex T-49901. I have about 35 digital watches in my collection right now, but none of them comes close to this stunning display. Unfortunately the 49901 has a white and stiff band, I trashed it and got a black strap from the 49900 - in one word: perfect.

2310 or 7900 are good value circa £100 or less. Solid and legible.

The 7900's are my favourites, although the 56s are currently my focus. But nothing is excluded, except pink Risemans.

Yes, this. The GW-M850 is one of the smallest digital, solar/atomic Gs, and the time digits are larger than expected with such a small case diameter. Also, the display has excellent contrast.
