Solar power on my module 3195 isn't keeping a charge....i think

What's up gang....I'm new to this forum, and new to watches....(yeah, really). I just got my tough solar GW 2310 module 3195. I loveit, but I'm nt sure if I'm getting the full capacity of the solar charges.
How long should I full charge last? I keep the automatic backlight on, fyi.
    Thanks.

    Welcome to the Forum.
Not sure how long a full charge should last, but will say that AUTO ILLUMINATION will run it down. Are you sure you need that function on ?

welcome and congrats! Your watch will eventually go to "high" charge with daily use. When i got my gw6900, it was on "medium" charge, I got a little impatient so i placed the watch inside a bowl of cold water and let it sit under the sun for an hour. Havent gone down from "high" ever since.

I'm unable to upload a pic, for some reason.
I had the watch at a full charge after being outside all weekend. I was surprised at how quickly it went down to medium.

When your watch indicates "H" charge level, that does not mean the watch is at full charge - it just means the watch has reached the lowest level of charge in the H range of charge.

This chart is not for your particular watch, but the principle is the same:

For the sake of discussion, let's call the Level 3, Level 4 and Level 5 charge levels as "L" state of charge. Then the Level 2 would be "M" and Level 1 would be "H" state of charge.

When the watch first indicates "H" it is at the borderline between the upper level of "M" charge and the lower level of "H" charge. To reach "Full Charge," the watch needs an additional 5 Hours of outdoor sunlight (or equivalent).

Your watch went from indicating H down to M so quickly because it was not at full charge. Just continue to charge your watch, even when it indicates H, to fully charge the watch and you will find it stays on H much longer.
