A friend just came back from the Far East with a gift for me: A G-Shock titanium GIEZ analog-digital watch, model Model: GS-300-N8BVTDS. It's quite nice but the digital display has a negative display (pale yellow, narrow digits on a black background) and the illumination can only be seen in pitch black; the negative digital display is next to impossible to read in bright light. Does anyone know of a way to either increase the contrast beween the digital numbers or brighten the backlight so the numbers can be viewed better? It uses module # 1798-2301.
