Some new (old) additions to my collection **PICS**

I thought I'd show you a few of my recent purchases as I've bought a new camera lens and wanted to try it out

I haven't played around with the pics as I don't have much time but hope you like them :)

    Casio G-Shock DW-5000c from 1983

This was a real grail for me as it's made in the same year I was born and, as I'm a G-Shock fanatic, well, it had to be bought :D I can't thank the seller enough for this one.

It's stood the test of time well and still works perfectly. It's a true classic in its own right and I hope to keep it for the rest of my life.

    Casio Pro Trek PRW-240

I bought this watch last week and have a NATO strap on the way. It was bought for a forthcoming trip to Iceland where I'll never in a million years need the thing... just an excuse to buy a watch I'd wanted for a while lol. It's actually turned out to be so good though that I'll be selling a couple of my other Casio outdoor watches because this does a better job.

    Casio TSW-110

I saw this years ago when I was in America and couldn't afford it. This came up on recently on eBay so I grabbed it. It scans the surface of any object and displays its temperature... works really well too!

    Breitling Chrono Avenger M1

This is a recent purchase but a really amazing watch. It's large but light due to being made from Titanium. I may we;ll sell it to go towards a Sub but for now, I love owning it and will miss it if I do sell.

    Wenger Traveler GMT watch

It's a very well built watch with 100M WR, lume to the hands, makers and numbers. It also features world time\gmt second time zone functions and I absolutely love it.

    Thanks

I'm amazed at how similar the DW-5000c is compared to modern G's. It's either that watch was wayyyy ahead of its time, or G-Shocks haven't moved on an awful lot. They're all great watches though :-D

    Good-looking pictures - subtle lighting.
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...

    Hi Wayne,

Great additions. I love the DW-5000C and the Casio TSW-110 Scanner. Nice to hear it is pretty accurate too. I never read feedback on this feature of an owner.

    Cheers,

    Sjors

Sjors, if you ever want to borrow any for a review on the blog, you'd be more than welcome Are you back from Japan yet?

I just wish I could get hold of a strap for the TSW-110... Casio UK are sold out on them for the 100 and hadn't even heard of my 110 lol.
