But why the model is DW-5000c but not DW-5500c? The DW-5100c should be WW-5100c.

    Well,
I had to look good. It's just a little typo. The upper one is a WW-5100 (november 1983) the bottom one is a DW-5500C(G-Shock II, Mudman, First "Master of G" , August 1985).

    Cheers,

    Sjors

I wouldn't fire an employer for such a mistake...although some penalties could be necessary for the people who inspected the special edition 100th "aniversary" mudman/coleman for the typo...its more important IMO.

Re: Someone at Casio is so getting fired !!!!!

it may sound strange, but we can not expect that the people working for casio have the same passion to the watches as we collectors do have.

working for casio, even in a factory in thailand as seen on the g-shock bible 2008, assembling g-shock i would give up my secure job in vienna immediately.

has any member ever tried to work in the casio watch business? i mean, why not?
    regards,

They don't care. I wrote them about that mistake months ago. Even mentioned it here on this forum. Nobody at Casio really cares about the vintage models...

    Hi Casiophile,

I think this goes for the Casio locations outside Japan. I think the Casio JP probably cares about the -Shock heritage. I understand timelines are an important part in Japanese culture.
