    Specific functions required

Hello to all from a first time poster.

I am looking at buying a G-Shock, I like the look of the GW 300U 1VER and the G-GW-5500-1JF.

Before I buy one I wonder any one knows of a G-Shock that can display a stopwatch and the current time together?

    Many thanks

    Ian

Most of the basic models show the current time in both stopwatch and countdown timer modes. These are the DW-5600E, DW-9052, and DW-6900.

    RaliDiver,
I'm fairly new to G-shocks and to this board, so I will let the experts answer your question, but welcome to the board!
I don't post much, but enjoy educating myself by getting here when I can.

    All,
Is it just me, or are there a lot of new people coming to the board? The wonderful world of G is spreading..

    Welcome to the forum, Ralidiver!

I would echo Buzzbait's recommendations - and yes, Clearview, we do seem to be getting a lot of new members. I'm not sure if I've welcomed you yet, so welcome!
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...

Whenever I back up to the "brand forums" page here at watchuseek, it shows how many people are participating in the specific watch forums and our G forum is always at or near the top for participation. Pretty impressive.

Add the dw8700 to the list of classic G's with time shown in stopwatch mode.
