Hello G-Shockers, I have a question that might seem odd. I've searched the forum for an answer and didn't find one. if there is a thread out there that deals with this, please point me in the right direction.
As the title indicates, I own a Casio DW5600. Normally I prefer mechanical watches, but I love how easy wearing, simple, ad feature-packed this watch is. I don't love the rubber strap it came on and I'd like to put it on a vintage style twisty bracelet. At the moment I have it on a two-piece nylon but I'm not crazy about it. The attached picture indicates that not only is the twist-o-flex possible, but has been done.
Allwatchbands sells that bracelet, but only for 18-22mm lugs. The DW5600 has, as I understand it, 16mm lugs. I am aware of an etsy shop that sells very popular lug width adapters that I could use, and simply attach a 22mm bracelet, but that's not what seems to be happening in the pic that I linked above. I also think it could be a little bulky.
Any thoughts? I'm guessing that speidel used to make a 16mm version but sold out, but I don't know. I'm wondering if I could get the 18mm version, but file it down?
And before someone comments about these straps pulling hairs, no I am not concerned about that.
