    squeaky frog

so my bargain gwf-1000bs-1 turned up. i paid £412 for it from a national jewellers. rrp is 550.

seems quite squeaky were the red back meets the strap and black front. squeaks while moving my wrist.

not overly bothered but anyone know of a suitable lubricant i could apply that wont eat the material?

    Maybe a little silicone spray.

I would use silicone, either spray or liquid.
    Cheers!

No need to do anything. At least for me the squeaks went away after a while and I did nothing on my GWF-1000RD. Mine just needed to get worn in!

Perhaps it will be the same for your BS model!

    cheers guys.

will give it a few weeks and see how it goes. silicone on standby.

must say the build quality of the frogman is outstanding. took the strap and bumpers off and the case is a thing of beauty.

I second that and that's why I own two now, but I guess that's how many I should own as they're too expensive for me to start a collection.

Same thing with my GWF-1000RD, but I think it's because it's still too new. It is possible that Casio used a solution on the rubber to preserve its curve or something (if this doesn't make sense, please pardon me, I've been running a few days on just a few hours of sleep), so when is it still new, it makes those creak-like sounds.

im just happy that while the build quality far exceeds that of my riseman, i still think the riseman rocks.

i have a few nice watches (rolex submariner, omega seamaster and an oris tt) but the froggie is definitely my new Friday watch as its casual dress code at work on friday.
