    Stealthed GX56-1BDR (well, partially :) )

Hi there! Well, after removing some lettering from the strap of my brand new GX56-1BDR, I've decided to go further, and the next step was to do the same with the yellow/gold letters on the case. Never did anything like this to any watch in my life, but seems like G-Shocks are kinda provocative of that . So here's the result:

    I wander, what comes next??

Looks good but I think you might have rubbed into that bezel a little to hard. Its seems scuffed up in your pic.

Actually I didn't rub it at all, I took wooden toothpic, soaked tip in non-acetone nail remover liquid, and removed the paint letter-by-letter. I think it's the flash. Here is the daylight pic. But anyway, considering the fact that I live and work in Africa for now, I don't think that my watch will keep it's virgin beauty for too long.

It's great if you like it but sorry to tell you it looks like something is missing. I love this model because of the positive display with the Gold/Green backdrop and the lettering. I think it used to accentuate to the overall golden look of the watch and now that is missing. If it were a negative display with dark background then that would have been a different story altogether.
