Stealthing Decision I Need Y'all Advise

I received a GW-200Z (final Frogman) for Christmas from my wife and son. I already have a GW-200MS (MIRB Frogman). The colors of the 200Z are kinda too bright for me. I prefer the lower key look of the stealthed MIRB look, but in black.

My question is should I just stealth the bezel, or just by a spare bezel and stealth that one and keep the 200Z bezel intact?

Thanks guys, just wanted to see what you guys have to say...

I would go with the spare bezel idea.

I always like using spare parts when possible for modding. It's really up to you though. If you don't plan on ever selling it, and you don't like the look of it - maybe you should just go ahead and stealth the original part. It's usually pretty safe and easy to remove the paint from the bezel, if you follow the proper procedures. Waiting for a bezel to arrive from Japan might take a while.

I might just get a spare; that is what I was originally thinking. Just seeing what you guys thought. Thanks guys. I can't find a GW-200Z spare, I guess I can go with anything if I was taking the paint off anyway.

from a collectors point of view, you should leave the watch untouched, best in its box. As it is your watch and onnly you shall be comfortable with it, i would just go ahead and stalth it. I do so with my watches, not caring if i reduce resale value. Although i do sometimes just resell bought watches when they have some collectors value before i can´t hold baxk and dye/stealth/mod them to keep vintage originals alive.
I do so with my bikes, car and other gear - i modify if i v´find it necessary for technical, optical or other reasons.
