    Strap Adaptors

Has anyone been successful in attaching the strap adapters to a 7710?

    Re: Strap Adaptors

There is a 7710 with adapters already installed - the G-7710CL:

Unlike the normal adapters they have a slight curve. So I don't think the standard adapters fit. But it could be possible the G-7710Cl adapters are sold as a spare part.

    cheers, Sedi

I believe that's correct. The G-7710 was released in 2007, so parts should still be available. If for some odd reason you can't get the adapters (sometimes CASIO retires some parts prematurely), the standard ones may work with a little bit of trimming. I was able to get a set to fit on a GL-110, a watch they weren't intended for, simply by trimming part of them with a sharp knife.

    Hi everyone!

Do you know where can I find strap for my G-shock (G-7710CL)?
I like this strap and don't want to change it for plastic one. But can not find it anywhere. It's been obsoleted.

Welcome to the forum, "Do_It_Yourself". We like people who are into DIY here.

There's a CASIO parts distributor called "PacParts". Visit their website, click "Search by Model Number" and then enter "G-7710". You'll see several entries turn up. You can e-mail them to find out availability of parts not listed. However, I was shocked to see them list the G-7710RL-2 band at a whopping $59.54!! It's not steel or titanium, but a "synthetic leather" design of some kind. Nice looking, but seems overpriced. Hopefully their plain resin versions are something more reasonable, like $25.

I think I´ve got one in good condition, but the strap keeper and buckle are missing - If that is ok for you, you can have it for the shipping costs. PM me.
