    Straps that are bolted (non-spring)

Are there any G-Shocks other than the GW500 which have a bolted strap?

    Thanks.

Besides the already mentioned Riseman, so do the G(W)-91x0 Gulfman and G(W)-90x0 Mudman models as well as -at least- several GIEZ.

I've got an old pathfinder or protec that has screws. I've been trying to get them loose.

Why is Casio so heavily into screwbars? presumably due to some of the design elements requiring this method?

I much prefer the speed and simplicity of a decent spring bar tbh.

I tried to remove the screw bar from my GW 2000 (it was squeaky!) and it was a real ..... to get them undone - I ended up ruining the slot heads and had to get new ones from Casio UK (£8 - and brilliant service).
