    Question Stupid Question???

    Hi All. Very sorry but Iv got a stupid question. I have emailed Casio for an answer, but got no response. Probably because it's a stupid question.
    Are you ready for it?
    When Casio gives the measurements of its watches like so;
    56.0 X 48.2 x 13.9. How does one interpret the information?
    Is the first number the height of the watch(across the wrist. 12 o'clock down to 6 o'clock)
    The second number the width(as if folliowing the line from the elbow down to the fingers)
    And the last number I presume is the thickness of the watch.
    Please help.

    Re: Stupid Question???

    Hi RTerror,

    The measuremants are in mm's. I always doubted how they measure the height (so your question wasn't stupid at all), but I believe the measurements are from watchband attachment to watchband attachment.

    Cheers,

    Sjors

    My recent fun and games with some digital calipers suggests that they do measure that way. I imagine they measure without the band attached. This can make the newer integrated band watches seem larger than they are in reality.
    I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...
