    Tan Mudman

I just purchased a used tan mudman from e-bay, The watch is in excellent condition with very minor signs of wear. The only thing bothering me a bit is that there are some dingy areas around the bezal and strap. Is this normal for a light colored watch ? What is the best way to clean it up. Also I just noticed that the watch was made in thailand, I thought the mudman was made in japan. Thanks.

The tan Mudmen do tend to pick up some 'dingyness'. I'm not sure if it can be cleaned, but I would say it's 'normal'.

Have you tried just brushing it with a toothbrush and a mild antibacterial handsoap/dishsoap? That'd be my first thing to try.

I'm not sure about the country of manufactre though.

I think my Mudman was made in Thailand. I sold it, so I can't check.

The quality standards are the same everywhere though, so it doesn't matter.
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...

The top one was for Japan sales. The bottom one was sold in the US.

How does the tan mudman pick up dingyness??

Should this mudman have to stay away from food like curries, pasta sauce, lamb rogash, brown sauce....... you know the heavy hearty stuff that gives a permanent stain???

Ironically I don't think mud and sand would cause this watch any problem... in the dingyness area.
