Are there any DW6900 models with ?

Are there any DW 6900 watches that have a white bezel with black letters?

Yes, I think there were at least two of them. One was a collaboration and of limited availability: DW-6900DQM. But there's also the DW-6900FS that was released in 2005 and is still for sale fairly often through various venues. However, you can take any white bezel 6900 and fill in the lettering with black enamel. It's really not hard to do.

Filling in the lettering with enamel paint is REALLY easy, and wiping off the excess is only slightly harder to do.

I did this one with a Q-Tip™ cotton swab for a "paintbrush" and a piece of Kleenex™ facial tissue moistened with paint thinner to wipe off the excess paint:

At "more than twice as big as life-sized" and under the camera's flash, it looks a little like I should have wiped at the "S" a bit more, but it looks great in real life -- a friend was surprised that it wasn't a "stock" bezel.

The GW6900GW-7 has a shiny white bezel with black lettering.

Do you wipe the excesses paint without wiping the letters?

The letters are recessed in the bezel. You only wipe the paint above the letters. It's realy quite easy

Sjors is right -- it really IS quite easy -- you just wipe the flat upper part of the bezel (where the excess paint is) without pressing so hard that you wipe the paint out of the grooves/recesses/engraved letters.

The trickiest part for me was learning the right amount of paint thinner, or "damp vs. wet," with my Kleenex or paper towel when wiping up the excess -- if it's wet enough to leave wet spots on the bezel, it's probably too wet and will soften/remove paint from the letters as well. If it's merely damp it will clean up the excess and leave the paint in the letters quite nicely!

If you DO wind up pressing too hard or using too much thinner when cleaning up, and wiping the paint out of the letters, just add more paint and try again.
