is there a way to tighten GMW B5000 Bezel Screws or are they supposed to rotate

is there a way to tighten GMW B5000 Bezel Screws or are they supposed to rotate? Tried to tighten them but they just keep spinning. They give the weird vibe of being on the verge off coming out. Would someone please elaborate? Thanks

it's a free spinning fastener - you need to use two flat head screwdrivers to install/remove it.

This tube design is part of the overall shock resistance of the watch.

I am confused. The bezel screw seems short and thats what the OP asked about. The tube style that you need 2 screw drivers is for the bracelet/ strap. Unless im missing something these are 2 different type screws

This is intended the screw is a rod type and while the screws are tight it freely rotates.

Plus the screws are secured with blue thread locker.
Only noticed after wrestling with getting it loose. And in the process I slipped with the screwdriver, ending it with some scratches on the silver bezel.

Luckily I don’t need it no more.

No, there is only one set of screws, for the band (and evidently they secure the bezel too, I have never checked mine). But there are not separate bezel screws as there are on the GW-5000.

Re: is there a way to tighten GMW B5000 Bezel Screws or are they supposed to rotate

Tried using 2 flat heads but both sides just kept spinning and did not seem to tighten the screws. I placed the watch on a holding vice then attempted to use both flat heads... and even pressed one screw onto my torso while turning the screw but both sides just keep spinning. I'm worried that the screws might come off and get lost since I'm not sure if I actually tightened them up or not. Went to several jewelry stores and none could help. Advice? Thanks!
