    Thieves Market Loot Follow Up

Hi all....last week i found some G-shocks amongst heaps of fake, non workable..watches..If some of you did not know wat i am talking about. This is my previous post https://forums.watchuseek.com/showthread.php?t=295337
Out of the 7 watches i bought all came to life after battery change....cleaned them up in warm soapy water and fixed bezel and straps to some of them....Maybe 2 of them needs lcd change and the bpm needs new button..trying to salvage..from one of the old non workable watch...the pics will show before and after

    Before

    After

    These needs polarizing film
Now i got 4 watches without the bezels....as these use bezel from model dw-8400 and dw-8500 which is hard to find....hope i can source out there*hint hint*

Excellent mass resurrection! I remember the original post and was wondering how they'd turn out. Good job!

    excellent job!

i notice on one of the restored Codenames without bezel, you are using a set of yellow straps. Are these from the old yellow DW-6900H?

Great one mate! Lot of effort and planning went into that job

Yeah that yellow strap seems to be from the DW-6900H-9, the 'Taxi driver'.

    cheers!

Nice Restoration Pics! Love what you did with the yellow 6600. Where did you get all the parts from?

    Nicely done!

I'm at the classic DW-8400 Mudman and the 2 Fox Fire watches.
No one ever works out and regrets it. You never go for a run, and then when you're finished, wish you would have stayed home. You never climb a mountain, get to the top, and say, "I should have just been content to stay where I was."
