Thoughts on a resin strap for a G-Lide

I'm thinking of getting a GLS-5600L-1 and replacing the strap with a resin band. Does anyone have an idea which band would fit better - a DW-5600 or a GWM-5600. I prefer the GWM5600 band-it feels a lot more flexible. Thanks.

Since the GLS has exactly the same dimensions as the GWM, you can use a GWM5600 strap.
    G9100BP - GLX5600 (*4) - G5600 (*3) - GLS5600 - GWM5600 - G7710 - G2500 (*2) - SGW100

Im wondering if the GWM strap ist really different.
Does it have a different part no. then the DW-5600E strap?

The stiffness might be batch related.

I think you are probably right.
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...

Thanks for the help! :thanks The bands on my DW, G, and GW-M5600's measure the same. The GW-M is just noticeably softer for some reason. Probably a batch difference as d2Mac suggested.

For the black 5600 series (aside from the G-Lides), it appears that the DW-5600M and the GW-5600 are the only ones that have different resin bands. The DW-5600M strap is shaped the same as the white/yellow/green 5600's.

Re: Thoughts on a resin strap for a G-Lide

So I swapped the strap adapters from the G-Lide for a DW5600 strap. The G-Lide now has a stealthy look with just enough color to make it interesting. The purple negative display is surprisingly easy to read, especially compared to my DW5600MS.

With respect to the stiff straps, I noticed that the softer straps had Casio Thailand or Casio Indonesia on the buckle, while the stiffer DW strap had Casio China on the buckle.

Apologies for the cell phone pic. It really does not do the combination justice.
