Time accuracy of my G's... how accurate is/are yours?

I wanted to know just how accurate my G-Shocks were as far as time goes so I set all my G's to the atomic clock (time.gov) on 7/23/12. Here are the results:

    GW9200:
My Riseman is Multiband 6 Atomic and gets a signal almost every night between midnight and 2am. Sometimes it'll go 2-3 days w/o synch'ing but it has been consistent as long as I place it on a side table in my dining room. But for testing purposes, I placed it in a drawer in my 1/2 bath for a month where I know it doesn't get a signal. I confirmed it did not synch and checked the time after a month. Surprisingly it was < 3 sec. fast for the month.

    DW5600:
    ~ 5 sec. fast.

    DW6900:
    ~ 8 sec. fast.

    GD100MS1:
    ~ 9 sec. fast.

Pretty good IMHO. Especially the Riseman. Kinda ironic that the atomic one is the most accurate without a synch. I kinda wish it wasn't as accurate as it is so I could get my money's worth on the Multiband Atomic 6 feature.

Just for the sake of comparison, my Timex Expedition Military Field watch is less than 2 sec. fast and my Bucherer swiss quartz is ~ 4 sec. slow.

I have 3 Seiko Dive Autos (7s) coming soon (picking the 1st one up today) and will test those for comparison later but I doubt it will be as good as a quartz. Also in the pipeline is a Bulova Precisionist which is touted to be +/- 15 sec per year. I'll probably get that for Xmas.

Anyways, how is the accuracy of your G(s)? Please you post!

    Here are my non-atomics:

    DW-5000SL:
    ~ 13 sec. fast

    G-1200D:
    ~ 8 sec. fast

    And for the comparison:
    Edifice EFA-131D:
    ~ 19 sec. fast

    Currently I'm testing my GS-1150 and since 8/15 it's already ~ 6 seconds fast.
Please excuse my imperfect English :)

My non-atomic G9300 Mudman gains only 5s in a month, so on par with what you guys already posted.
Current watch(es) : Damasko DC58 with yellow chronohand.

    SGW-100
    0,5 sec. fast

    W-740
    2,5 sec. fast

    GX-56-1A:
    5,5 sec. fast

    GX-56-4
    8 sec. fast

    DW-5000SL
    16 sec.

    G-7800
    22 sec. fast

These are average times measured during few months.
As you can see the most accurate are the cheapest ones.

    Cheers, Piowa

Had my GW-A1000D nearly 4 weeks now. I live in Australia so no atomic sync but it did sync in Tokyo the day it was sent out. 4wks later, it is exactly 1s slow. Pretty happy with that!

For best results...keep testing :-P. Ideally, you can check over multiple months to see the variation. Plus, for those with atomic...you can turn off that feature you know . And wearing them instead of letting them sit should provide the best results.

Man, I've never purposely deprived my atomic Gs from the time giving sustenance they deserve. :)

I'm too weak to do it. I'm in California and am spoiled by the fact that all of my Atomic Gs receive the signal every single night like clockwork.

I may have to workup my courage to do it ;)

Re: Time accuracy of my G's... how accurate is/are yours?

I set my GW5600J in January to the timeanddate.com website and it has been accurate to the second since. I still can't quite believe it but I also don't get too excited about that sort of thing. As far as I'm concerned if a watch is within a minute of that website I'm okay with it, there isn't any single part of my life that would be ruined by my watch being 2 seconds fast or slow.
My other G's drift continously, usually fast by 10 seconds or so a month.
