Timex Ironman Triathlon - Kona '98 Edition

Anyone remember these? There was an ana/dig version, a "datalink" version and a standard 30 lap version. This one just got a new battery and I broke it out for the afternoon:

really nice.. may have to keep my eye out for one to use when I do Kona (ha ha, maybe in 5 years). Training for my first 1/2 Ironman. Definitely not fast enough to qualify for Kona.

I was never a fan of the ana-digi ones.. but have been a Timex fan for YEARS...

I used to run a lot and wore Timexes for years before I was a "collector".

I too put a battery in sevearl of these recently and have been wearing them a lot this summer...

    High Ti...

And of course my first digital watch... :)

And this was my first watch (beside a spiderman watch when I was a kid). I think I got this sometime around 83 and I wore it all through the first 2 years of college in 89 and 90.

LOL. I'm not sure if they're "retro". They're just old!

I think I am allergic to TIMEX Ironmen watches. Just seeing them makes me itchy :)
