    Off topic Timex manuals

Couldn't find a Timex forum here so I'll ask it where I normally hang out (here). Mods please move this thread if there's a better place for it.

Anyone know if Timex has a nice online place to get manuals for their watches like Casio does?

    Thanks and happy holidays.

Timex manuals are very generic and they way they are formatted makes them hard to read.

On top of that the link at this page doesn't work

Not a good early sign after getting my first Timex. Thanks for the quick help so far however.

thanx for the link, i just scored an old 8 lap ironman from a thrift store the other day and have been looking for a manual

    Re: Timex manuals

Timex needs to update the manuals. I have a new model Timex Expedition. The Timex Expedition manual on the Timex website doesn't even reference or explain how to use many of the features my new model Expedition has. I've been able to figure out the and use the features through trial and error.

To me that's a fun part... I don't recall EVER actually reading the manual... for some Gs I bothered opening the manual but every single time that's only because I was curious if time is shown in STW and CDT mode... now you know why I don't have a single Timex... and you also know why new 5000 and solar atomic 6900 are not in collection as well... this is HUGE for me...

    Cheers

    Re: Timex manuals

There was a screw missing form one of the pins that holds the band on so I called Timex and they are sending some replacements out for me at no cost. Also ordered another linked band from a different version of the watch I had and it's only $12. Compared to Casio they seem to be very reasonable.
