I like the 9300, more comfy than 9400.

Best to try it on in store if possible, I bought the mudman, then the rangeman and sold the mudman. I found the rangeman to fit better for me, and I prefer the added functions and the easier to press buttons

Map your requirements to each watches features. I wanted a barometer, compass and altimeter. I went with a Rangeman.

For me, the Rangeman meets all my requirements and I no not NEED a Mudman, I just want one for my collection.

    Rangeman hands down!

Rangeman is around $150-$160 now. It is still better packed with futures than new Mudmaster (yes it does not have sunset/sunrise mode only)
Mudmaster is ana-digital and has locking button. I personal don't trust it. It is been discussed numerous times nightmares people have with it.
And it is common fact all digital watch is more likely to take more abuse than analog watch.
Plus analog portion on a Mudmaster is taking 75% of the dial.

I would say if you prefer analog watch, than Mudmaster might is the one for you.
Pretty much every G-Shock (i got to point Every G-Shock) is well build to withstand mud and dirt. So "Mudmaster" sounds great and is just another marketing tool to sell it much higher than, compared to Gulfie for example. They will come down in prices for sure, but is going to take a year or so.
But new Mudmaster is sure great looking and defiantly best futures combined Rangeman-Aviator-Gulfmaster-?Mudman?

But i will stick to Rangeman.

Between those two, I'll take the rangeman everyday of the week and another one (or three) with different color for the weekend ;)
