    Question toughest G-Shock ever ???

    Hi folks,

I´m new to this sub-forum and think I´ve fallen in love with a G-Shock

A friend of mine wore a full metal version when we met last time but couldn´t tell me the exact model nameO|

It had a digital display and was about 45 mm in diameter and around 15 mm thick.

On one end link there was "TACTICIAN" engraved...

I guess this must have been the toughest G-Shock ever built, right?

That beauty reminded me of my Suunto Stinger dive computer somehowB-)

Does anyone of you have any pics and some more technical data?

    Water tightness?

    Weight?

    Is it still in production?

    How much to pay for?

:thanks in advance for your answers

Yes my friend...that´s EXACTLY the one I´m talking about

    :thanks for the link.

    Any additional technical data???

    Concerning the price: How much?

I´m used to high prices since I normally wear german dive watches such as Stowa and SinnB-)

    Cheers from Germany

    @ rettungs taucher ,

personally I find this model shown above plain ugly, because of it's six screws around the bezel. but thats just my opinion of course. nevertheless: if you are interested in an all-metal G why don't you consider one of the new gw-810xxx models. they feature the latest technology including 5 band atomic timekeeping and tough solar, along with alot other useful stuff. you can find them here: http://www.g-shock.de/de/lineup/gw-810d-1ver/ and on ebay.de

    regards, holger

    Hallo Großkaliber-Schütze,

:thanks for the link...I´ll think it over

Concerning the screws: Jörg Schauer uses many of them...12 on the bezel to be correctB-)

Didn't you post a series of pixs of these two watches previously? I had been searching the forum for the thread, but couldn't find it, so I gave up.

What are the model numbers? Is there any visible plastic on the watch or band?

HI Greg... the one on the left is a 8900 the one on the right is a MRG 110

There is no visible rubber except on the back.
