    Trashing a G !! (modem burner)

    Ok got ya!
No I wouldn't destroy a G on purpose but a Fake I could care less about.

As I got caught (twice and before I was a member of here) I figured some payback was in order, plus I was curious to how well made the paperweight was.

A Fake Frogman 8200, I know now what to look for but well once I didn't and this was the result

Back shot, and from this you sort of could be forgiven for the mistake.

Inside, take a look at that alarm spring !!

Next the module that simply popped out with very little effort.

Inner bezel, again which didn't need much help to come out although it did have locating lugs

All 3 parts that came off/out

    Inside case...looks solid enough

Buckle, which if I ever lose a Mudman one I could use as they are the same size and stamped but a slightly different shape than the real thing.

The Strap keeper which I have used as the one kindly sent to me got lost by the UK Postal system.

Next up another Fake what model it is supposed to be I have no clue, It actually has a very comfortable strap and the light when used is a reverse blue, a real shame it is a fake. Which I realised was probably the case when I looked up the module number to get a manual.

    Back shot

Back again...supposed to be a screw back...was it hell and note the cutout for an analog winder so this case is used for other fakes, not just Casio's.

    Internals.

Internals removed, very little effort but the inner bezel has locating lugs to fix to the module.

    Case empty

That's not trashing. Take a sledge hammer to those, pronto!
Buying more watches does not buy you more time.

It's too bad that you bought these fakes, but hopefully these photos will prevent others from buying one out of curiosity. You can definitely see a bigger difference on the inside. Casio really does a good job of keeping the quality top-notch throughout the entire design.

I know what you mean but as I am only out of pocket around $30-40 for the 2 it doesn't hurt too much, kind of makes up for all the watches I bought for the starting price that I have seen later go for lots more.
Heck that sort of money is only the start of a night out, my bar tabs are usually way more scary than that
