Question Two questions - toughets G at the moment

    Hi guys!

    Haven't been here for a while - G-fever again!!!

A new G has to come. There are two questions.

Which one is the toughest one at the moment? 7900???
And the second question is: Does it matter if it's made in Japan or Thailand or anywhere else?

Thx guys and have a nice evening.

To answer your question, I like Heineken beer too! On a more serious note, I'm beginning to love Mickey's Malt. On a less important topic, unless you have a prosthetic arm, wrist, or hand, then you shouldn't have to worry about which G is the toughest as all G's will survive what your arm, wrist, or hand can handle. But my pick would be any Frogman to be the toughest G.

Also, unless one may be geographically prejudice, I don't think that where G's are made really matters; I'm open to where ever watches are made from.

The Mudman line is a tough group.

They're all going to meet whatever you throw at it and come back for more unless you have something really interesting planned.

It doesn't matter whether its made in Japan or Thailand.

It's hard to tell which of them is toughest because all of them are tough. For the particular kind of 'toughness' you may consider which watch was used for which particular test in the 'torture tests' (there'll be a video somewhere, sorry I don't have a link). I think Raysman, which is 'mud resistant', is pretty tough.

Although watches made in Thailand are pretty good (I was wearing one of them for years), I would say in general G-shocks made in Japan are, well, made in Japan and have much more respect e.g. in Japan... ;) (so I'm happy to be wearing one of them now...).

Congratulations on your choice, you are going to enjoy this one.

My take is nearly all G's are about the same in terms of durability as they are all built with the patented "G-Shock" system.

    Cheers...
