Does the 6900 have the spider web logo in the backlight as well?

Damn fine pieces... you must agree that 'visual loudness' of yellow G's do have an appeal

    Hi Schirra,

Those models were released in Germany as basic G-Shock models. Actually there is a red version of the Skull/Spiderweb model too. I believe they were sold as a limited edition in Japan, but sold by hunderds here. This is the reason you will still find this model pretty easy on eBay Germany.

The re-Issue was released in Japan only and in my opinion the ones I have seen for sale were pretty expensive. Much more expensive than the real deal.

    Cheers,

    Sjors

That is nice Sjors, they look fantastic and I love the crystal protector on the 6630. My favorite yellow DW-6900, however, is the Dream Air Slasher DW-6900HDA-9A, but this is so rare I doubt I will ever see it in person. I saw it on Aussie Japan's site.

Hello Sjors, about the DW-6900 I have buy for 35€ shipped!

It is provided with the original box, guarantee and instructions.... because there is a small EU on the tag I think is the european edition model.
As I say is NIB, never used and totally new...
I don't like too much the spider logo (but I don't know if it's easy to find a plain yellow strap for the DW-6900) but that's is it!
It carry the 20BAR statement on the dial and the FOXFIRE also... this let me a little surprised as I know that the european models always has 200METERS instead of 20BAR...

    What your opinion?

    Thanks!

€35? Where from? They're not going for much less than that on eBay Germany at the moment. At that price, I could justify another purchase this side of Christmas...

    Hi Schirra,

I just checked my website and saw the "Taxidriver" (as the name of this model is) has WATER 20 BAR RESIST written on the display. A wild guess of me is that this watch was originally designed for the Japanese market and somehow wasn't sold good there. Maybe the model was sold in Germany and the huge interest in this watch made decide to make many more of this model for the German market.

    Cheers,

    Sjors
