    Unboxing a Bible

I got a package in the mail recently, and thought it would be fun to share!

It was something I had never seen before on person, and am really pretty excited about.

As is almost common of my purchasees from Japan, the wrapping/packaging is simply amazing and something to strive for.

What could be in it? It is a little slim to be a G.

    Yeah~!~~!!

And out of the internal packaging

Not just a straight pictoral of watches

    Articles about the tech

    And some of the milestones

And of course, watches. Think of it as Perfect Search in your lap

And finally a pic for my buddy Mitch:

I spent the next hour browsing it before downloading the photos to post up . Yeah I know, but couldn't help myself .

I can only imagine how much more absorbing this could be if I could read Japanese. A few fast notes: The Lightning Yellow Ti Frog was featured, but no mention of the Rising Red . I did not notice the Ruby either, but by that time I was cruising through it.

Another one gone AWOL is the GW-T5030C. I wonder if Casio will ever officially acknowledge it anywhere or if we (WUS and other enthusiasts) are responsible for carrying on the knowledge.

Excuse me, but I've now got some plotting to do. .. . . .

This is very interesting, Chris. Because I received my copy today too. So pardon me if I steal your thread to post some pages that click me.

First note, the color wall of G's is actually a sleeve cover. The mook cover is white with gold number 30 made from tiny many G-SHOCK pictures.

Two pages cover MTGS1000. There are some pictures that I haven't seen before.

And some topic on material and design. It shows the SS links and resin plate.

Then the premium production line that I read in an article. The line is shaped as G.

Interview with Mr. Ibe. He looks handsome in suit and square.

But what was he showing on the table? I think it is not G-SHOCK. Anyone knows the model?

haha what a fun idea! it didnt occur to me to do an "unboxing" when I received it a few weeks ago...
I agreee it is great to have as a picture book, and for me who is relatively new to the subject, I can learn a lot
about the history of which G was launched when...
would be awesome to be able to read it too, but I do not see that on the horizon...

Ain't this the coolest thing! I've had mine since the end of December and it did an "ok" job of satiating the need for more g's for About.... Let's say 3 minutes, in fact this "poke-guide" probably does more harm than good!

this "mook" is essential g shock pron for the f17 crew.

Chris I've been lurking here awhile and just want to say aloha from Washington state, I'm a former Oahu'an and I loved the Picts of the mtg!

    Looks a fun book Chris.

Nice page showing all those WCup USA 94 watches, favourites of mine as you know. Cheers!

    Re: Unboxing a Bible

I found an error in the bible! - at least in the one I have

on page "010" The "GW-M5630D-1JR" is actually pictured in the "GSET-30-1JR" and the DW-5030D-1JR is pictured where the 5630D should be. Note the power indicators on the 5630 vs the "project team tough" on the 5030D.

Wonder why I was looking at those 2 models?
