    Under $40 for an Atomic/Solar G?

    I was browsing around on the bay and look what I found :O

    hm, I don't know the price is great but the GW-300 is without any doubt the most problematic G to date. personally i don't know of any other g-shock that had so many broken solar batteries and/or broken modules...

    I think that is the solar G-Shock model that people always complain the battery goes dead alot.

    I've had one going on five years now and its fine, but yea I have heard others experiencing problems with it.

    Mines over 6 years old and still going strong. I think its important to keep them charged or exposed to light. dont think the battery is good at recovering when its drained.

    Have one for 4 years (got it very used) or so and I beat the HELL out of it and it works fine and shines bright not to mention huge digits, and time in every mode. Great G.

    Does all the solar G-shocks suffer the same problem with dead battery?
    And what would be the expected lifetime of a solar battery?
