Question US source for Japan only models?

    Hi all,

New to the forum. Looks like the G-Shock bug has bit and bit hard! Looking for a few Japan-only models. Aside from hbwatches, are there any other sources for Japan only models in the US?

I know there are a bunch on the bay but would prefer a local source.

    Thx!,
    Tim

Just go to Seiya. Not necessarily the cheapest but very quick & easy & safe.

If you have 5 to 10 hours of spare time, go ahead, google, google, and google and you may save $10.

I bid a couple of times on yahoo japan through agents.
There'll be commission fees but you can get very rare limited edition Gs.

    Hi Tim,

Check out msgdistributors on eBay. Also a lot of Gs on the sales corner of WUS.

    Cheers,

Thx guys! I was actually hoping for a local store within reasonable distance where I may actually stop by to view/test out the models in person. Looks like online is the only way to go...

OT: Sjors, I became aware of Röyksopp due to the Geico caveman commerical (Remind me). I bought the album and really enjoyed it! I noticed your reply on another thread explaining your avatar and Poor Leno and finally get why it's called that. Thx!

I'm in NJ and normally Yaohan (now Mitsuwa) would be the place to go for Japanese imports but they really don't have much in the way of G-Shocks. There's really no Japantown like there are Koreantown and Chinatown in Manhattan.

I believe a while back, Penguin Village in Chinatown used to carry some G-Shocks but I haven't been there in ages, might pay it a visit this weekend after some dim sum.

Delivery from Katsu-san and Seiya-san is very fast if you're in a hurry. Their price includes shipping.
