Using Regular DW-6900 band and bezel in G-6900A

    Hi,

I'm thinking of purchasing a G-6900A and then customize it with the band and bezel of a red DW-6900 I own.

Has anyone tried to swap G-6900A and DW-6900 bands and bezels? Are they the same size? Do they fit?

    Thanx a lot in advance,

    G.

Yes some tried the swap already, unfortunately the bezels don't interchange.

The G and GW-6900 comes with thinner bezel due to slimmer solar panel and new module design.

But don't despair, a red G/GW-6900 should be around the corner any time soon

Confused Re: Using Regular DW-6900 band and bezel in G-6900A

Thanx for answering. I'll keep the original white band and bezel then. Let's see if they don't stain when summer ends and long sleeve clothes begins.

By the way, I'm checking eBay and it's plenty of white g-6900 around 90$, but the white atomic version cost about 190$ . Right now I'm going for the non atomic one since the difference is HUGE. Hope they get cheaper in some months...

    Best,

    G.

Ain't one of the reasons for the high price for the atomic versions is because part of the fees goes to the radio operators?

As Casio can afford to design, make, distribute, and retail atomic desk/alarm clocks for £25 in total, I doubt the royalty can be significant.

I've never heard of royalties being paid. In Britain the signal is provided by the National Physical Laboratory and I imagine it is a public service initiative.
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...
