If a F-91 could do it, why not a Froggy?

    Lol yes
But it's unmodified and it should be only able to survive 200 meters not more...

I love this Frogman video. From the video the regular G-Shock lasts to abput 400m or so, which is impressive in it's own right.

Have you read the ISO standard to which the watch is tested? You should research what standard it is and read it.

The "Diver's 200m" on the watch does not mean it is only water resistant up to 200 metres, it means it is good to AT LEAST 200 metres (actually 220 metres, 10% more, but you'll realize that when you read the ISO document) for a prolonged duration.

What Casio are certifying with the "Diver's 200m" branding is that every watch so branded will perform to at least 200 metres. Beyond that, one can expect that some watches would not fail until 300 metres, some others may not fail until 400 metres, others may even not fail until 1000 metres or more. The point is, ALL watches made will be good to at least 200 metres, but no guarantee can be made for ALL watches beyond that.

Is the video "real?" Sure. I have no reason to suspect it was made to be intentionally misleading. But the real question should be, what does the video really show us?

Here's what I take away from that video:

    - Casio's ISO testing and rating of the Frogman to 200 metres was proven to be valid.
    - The ISO testing and certification procedure, along with Casio's manufacturing and design of the Frogman, are robust enough to yield some examples of the watch capable of surviving brief exposure to pressures well above 200 metres.

    But most importantly:

    - IT IS SAFE TO SHOWER WITH YOUR FROGMAN!
