    Vintage 6900 came today....

    DW6900X-2T 1996 release, Module 1449 Thanks to those replied w/ info to my other post. Cond better than expected,
    works perfectly too. The case resin is a glossy dark blue metallic. Lettering all crisp.
    Orig velcro a bit faded though perfectly servicable.

    what a coincidence, im wearing a sister model today 6697 (:
    looking good even with the gloss. i def. prefer 6900s with the strap adapters and velcro bands, they really need to start doing more of them!
    One struck by lightning is not the same as by a baseball or cabbage.

    yeah, its a shame Casio seems o have buried the velcro strap idea .

    Looks great -- congratulations!

    The last time I looked for them on eBay a couple of weeks ago, I saw original replacement Casio velcro straps in black, red, yellow and green -- don't remember if there was blue or not. You can always use a "basic" 22 or 24mm Zulu type strap with those adapters, too!
