    Visibility & Durability of GW700BDJ

I would love to hear your experience with this watch. In particular, how visible is the display outdoors and does the black ion plating on the case and bracelet come off? Thanks.

p.s. - Any scans of it would be much appreciated.

I find it to be an "ok" G-Shock, not my favorite but I like it better than most with the tin bezel. It's Japan made, easy to read for a reverse display, the ion is fairly tough but not even close to the MRG and it will wear off. For $80 from Costco it was a great buy. I like the GW-5600BCJ a whole lot more as it at least has a countdown timer.

    Hi solidstate :
I got mine at Costco for 82.00 a real bargain. This watch goes around 120-160.00 on internet shops and e-bay. The watch is pretty cool all
I can tell you about the display is that there is no big difference than
other negative displays. I have the watch since two weeks ago so I can't
say much about the black ion plating. I like this watch a lot.

Gawain has this model too and I think he said it was one of his most comfortable watches. I really like this model, and have come close to buy one, but I actually prefer the cheaper MTG960DA-2 which is basically the same watch without the black ion plating (hence cheaper)...no need to worry about scratching it off...

I'm not usually into all black watch though.
