    Volcano trip

    Hi friends

    Back from Thira/Santorini Greece.

A wonderful place steeped in history and tragedy.

Just a few pics to share, the Riseman performed well on the climbs although nothing too high but in the 35 degree C heat it was tough going. The center of the volcano was like an oven and its overdue for its next eruption.

The mantis is a little friend I made on the way, first time I've ever seen one I was fascinated.

    Regards

    Matt

Good to have you back, Matt.

Cool pics of your vacation. I see your new Riseman did just fine (one of the first, if not first, pic of a Riseman in action in the forum, by the way).

The bike stayed at home, no tyres would cope with that sharp volcanic rock!

Need to get back in trim as I'm doing 6000 miles a year on my commute and I've had a month off.
