    Wall of G's

Doing some honeydew list stuff around the house, had to move some of the G'oodies out of the way. After finishing the husbandly duties, I had my stuff to put away. I decided to play a little and this is the result. Don't know how long it will stay this way,, but for now, I like ogling it.

I feel embarrassed now posting on this forum! I have an exceptionally modest watch collection, compared to you, I just don't feel worthy! What a great hoard!

A man wearing a watch, outside of purely social functions (where, strictly speaking, a watch is not supposed to be worn), makes it clear to everyone in his purview that they are in the presence of a man who considers his time something of value, not something to be wasted.

A man wearing an ostentatiously expensive watch makes it clear to everyone in his purview that they are in the presence of a man who considers little.

Whoa...I'm trying to figure out how long it takes you to cycle through your collection. Maybe once a year? That's if you wear everything.

That's nothing! Imagine the effort in setting them after the clocks go forward/backward, and also battery replacement!

I could go 3 months without repeating daily wearer's. The ones in cases don't come out much as to keep them whole. They're from the late 80's & 90's and are all original.

Time is set when put on, not worth the time to reset them all at once ( tried it many times with Mrs. Wits help, including her 26 it's an evening effort)

Batteries are not a big issue, but it's funny that several will go at once.
