    Walmart homage of the 6900/6600

I just bought one of the $9.00 watches from Walmart with a case made in the DW6900 style.

    PROS: All plastic case.

CONS: Only 50M WR. Limited functions (chrono and alarm)

That's about I can say. I like the plastic case more than rubber. The band is probably not as comfortable as the genuine Casio. It's about like the replacement band that you can buy at places like Walmart.

    LACK OF IMAGE:
Sorry, I'm not good with the internet/picture thing. (My camera doesn't seem to take good closeups anyway.) The dial has kind of a white inner ring inside the bezel. The light button below the dial is also white, on a case that otherwise has an all black stealth look.

I would say, to any G-Shock collector, it is NOT that close. Especially due to the white button and inner ring. (Plus the screen is a very generic cheap digital, kind of like the F91 but with those little "day" markers at the top like the vintage digitals.) But it seems to be the same size.

I've seen the homage DW6900/DW6600 that Walmart is selling. I was not impressed by it. I would rather own the real DW6900/DW6600 than the $10 Walmart one.
