Rolling eyes Watch Geek Day (one of "those" days)

Did you ever had a Watch Geek Day (WGD) ? It's what my wife calls "one of those days". Well, I went through one today. This is how it went:

    1)
    I woke up wearing this:

    2)
In the morning I went for a short bike ride, and I was wearing this:

    3)
I got back home, took a quick shower and hauled the family to lunch at a restaurant, and I switched to this guy:

    4)
Then, in the afternoon I did a few chores, played some PS3 with my son and hanged around on the interweb while wearing this:

Right now it's 8:00 pm and after we put the kids to bed we're watching "Sherlock Homes" on BD (the joys of parenthood and cinema abstinence), and I'm wondering if I should keep it blue or maybe swap for something red...

Yep, it was definitively a WGD.

PS: The wife just (bluntly) told me to get a life and informed me that if I change the watch one more time she won't make popcorn for the movie .

Reminds me of a scene in "Look Who's Talking" when Mikey meets his grandmother for the first time. She looks at Mikey making baby noises and he says, "Oh yeah she's gone." You gone dude. However, that's what this hobby will do to you. No sense apologizing, but your wife might as well get used to it.

Funny, initially I read LUW's post, I was like, "What is wrong with that!?"...and puzzle over.
Makes total sense to me for the watch swap LOL.

Being honest I usually don't have many WGDs, I usually change watches only once or twice (tops!) in 24 hours. But today I was opening those watch boxes with a passion .
    Must be the weather.

PS: The monitor ain't huge, only 22". Though next week I'm doing an upgrade on my desktop and a 27" one is coming - I'll finally be able to hook up the PS3 in the office.
    Cheers!

    Ha ha,

I had those days for sure. I noticed that I now sometimes wear a model for 3 or 4 days in a row, but I have those days I wear 2 or 3 on one day. Probably had a day I wore 4 or more.

Talk about Gekk... I Noticed your Garmin. It looks like my old eTreX. I now use a Garmin Edge 800 Bundle, which is fantastic!

    Cheers,

Re: Watch Geek Day (one of "those" days)

Saturdays often end up like this for me.

Morning, take my kids to music lessons and other activities - Decent/fun watch
Get home and go for a run or ride - Garmin 910XT
Work on the car or in the yard - Beater
Shower up and go out to dinner - Something decent/nice

    Otherwise, I tend to be 1 watch/day

I like the Garmin 910XT since I can put it on my wrist and get info on runs also. It has all the bike functionality of the Edge, but can only show 4 parameters at once (which I find more than enough). I have the bike quick release on order since I don't like to have things on my wrist when I ride.
