"A Watch is Just a Watch Until,....

its a Casio G-Shock with a Velocity Indicator!! Have no idea what I will ever use it for, but I finally got the long awaited GA-100-1A all stealth black G-Shock! I have to say, I liked the look of it since day one when I first saw it, but after finally getting one on the wrist, I am really stoked about it! I never imagined liking it this much, it just feels and looks super special ops commando on the wrist, in a very awesome way. My personal opinion of this model is 2 thumbs up all the way! As for the backlight, I really like it, illuminates the analog hands perfectly and no problem for me seeing it. I really like how the lcd portions of the dial are reversed all black, for anyone on the fence about this model, I highly recommend it! Nice work casio!

Looking good! I think this model would be great on a Zulu. How does the band connect, would the adapters work?

Very cool, technical and robust looking tool watch! I have no idea what a velocity indicator on that watch is too, but I can only guess its function is somewhat similar to the function that's seen on the Speedmaster's bezel?

Thanks, it actually is attatched with spring bars and yes it does look great on a Zulu! I hadn't even thought about that, good call! The same adaptors that fit the DW-6900 and 5600, 16mm works perfect on it!

That is a fantastic looking Gshock.

Where does one find those adapters for the nato band? And will they fit the GW300?

Not bad at all! And I'm surprised how interoperable those strap adapters turn out to be.

PS, I like the tweaking you've been up to with your sig pic.

Thanks! I am definately glad Casio decided to stick with spring bars instead of machine screws like on the Riseman, much more versatile with existing strap options. Also thanks on the sig pic, been haveing a little fun with the Photobucket edit options.
