    Watch for a kid

I'm looking for a watch for my 10 year old. My DW5600E looks way to big for him, but didn't want to get him something too small or a Baby G girl's watch. Does anyone know if the F-108WH-1ACF is much smaller?
    Thanks!

The F-108 is 4.5mm shorter lug to lug which should help with overhang off the wrist. They are both within .2mm in width. The 108 is 1.1mm lower in height.

This is what I bought my 9 year old son for his first watch. It fits him just fine once I cut off the excess strap length. I paid $15 for it at Walmart.

The WS210H-1AV moon phase/tide watch might make a good kid's watch, as the lug to lug length is pretty short. Another small one is the AE1200WH-1A, although the flush acrylic crystal may get scratched easily.

Like Rocat mentioned above, the F-108's only slightly smaller than the DW5600E. You can find him some smaller squares, if you and him like square watches in general. Such as the W96H-1 and W800H-1, they are very common and dirt cheap (< $15) models with mere 35-37mm case width.

If your son is a nerd, you can also consider getting him Casio data bank or calculator watches. The DB36-1 is currently the smallest DB model, roughly same size as the W800H. The classic CA53W-1 calculator watch is also pretty small and thin, as well as the most nostalgic time piece a nerd must have. Again both can be found around $15.

Thanks everyone! I went with Rocat's suggestion on the 213-2A. Has countdown alarm, and all the stuff I expect from Casio. A lot of the reviews on Amazon mentioned it was a great watch, but a little small for an adult, more like a kid's watch - perfect!

Glad my suggestion helped. If the strap is too long, most likely will be, then use a quarter as a guide to make a smooth rounded edge when you shorten the strap.
