    watchtronics - dw56rt

I just added the 5600 style referee timer to my collection, solid watch.

    DW56RT-1

I'm loving this watch, its got the extra long 5600j type strap, not great for my small wrist, but i got the idea of using an o-ring as a keeper on this board and now all my G straps are locked down.

Anyone got feedback on this model?

If you love the 5600 series this is the perfect buy.

    35 bucks, can't go wrong.

Check out watchtronics.com, it looks like a brand new site, its only got a few Gs listed so far, but the dude says he's adding more all the time.

Ordered Friday and it arrived Monday, USPS priority mail, TX to NY.

    See ya-

    Good looking and fun Gshock
Are the 9 timers predefined really, or you can choose any value for CDT ?

    Timers are pre-defined

10-45m using 5m increments, you can choose to repeat/loop or stop.

    Congrats on the purchase.
I really like them for their crisp and simple display
You might consider swapping a different type of strap if you find them too long. Mine is a white version, the original straps were falling to bits so I'd put a white double velcro strap:

My wrists are pretty small, about 6 1/4", but the velcro straps offer a snug fit and look pretty cool too.

The nylon strap looks awesome on this watch, but...

I'm a fan of resin, I wash my hands all the time (might be some slight OCD), which leaves the nylon wet for hours.

Wet fabric results in annoyance at best and a nice rash at worst....still I have a few watches (timex ironman) with velcro/nylon and love them by keeping um dry- but my Gs are all resin.

Still thinking of ordering a DW6900 or GW6900 and a Zulu as my next G purchase. I freakin love the look of this combo.

    See ya-

I know what you mean, living in the tropics I prefer very much resin or rubber straps for my watches. There's just too much sweat and dirt that'll get on the fabric straps and eventually they start to stink as well.
So as a whole I don't often wear the Gs with the velcro/fabric straps.
