    What color is the G-9000-3V

    Simple enough question. I have been looking around at this particular Mudman, but see a lot of different color versions - blackish, grayish or greenish.

    A quick search here did not lead me to anything.

    What color is the darn watch?

    Please show me or tell me.

    It depends on how the picture was taken, because the color may look significantly different based upon the lighting conditions. The "3" indicates green color.

    Probably because it is not the full model number, omitting the region letters coming after the color code. For example, 3VER is the code for the European version.

    Although I've not yet seen it myself, I believe that it's a dark olive green.

    Ah, OK. That is green. The official pictures around doesn't show it that well. Until now I thought the G-9000MC-3 was the only green Mudman.So is this color coding a general thing?

    1=black e.g. GW-6900-1
    2=blue e.g. G-9100-2
    3=green e.g. G-9000MC-3
    4=red e.g. G-9000MX-4
    8=gray e.g. G-9000MC-8

    What are the other color codes?

    I did not see this before. I feel enlightened. Just call me noob.

    A lot darker of an olive color than most pictures show on the internet. In some lower light environment, it can appear black. Think of military green. I like mine a lot!

    It sure is green! (with a hard to read display to match! )

    I do think it's a tad lighter green than on my pic though... I'm using my daughters ooold crt monitor so it's kind of hard to tell if the color is right.
