    See,

Piowa is in such a state of shock he can't even type a response to this thread. He is sitting down on the floor in a fetal position mumbling, "Why, why, why" over and over.

Same reason why people use knives as pry bars and then wonder.

Re: What did he do to this king?

To me it appears to have been slam dunked into the pavement rather then just dropped from a mere 20 feet altitude. The King have a special double layered resin and internal alpha gel as well as a PUR shock absorb-er to protect the module from impact. So despite those measures your stepson managed to break the LCD. I guess it is due to a combination of him actually throwing the King with significant force and the angle of impact causing it to land against something small (perhaps a small pebble?) causing to much force to accumulate in a single area resulting in the broken LCD.

Always sad to see a magnificent G-Shock creature go down due to foolishness!

Not a watch kind of a guy, is he? Wonder what made you give him your watch. And a discontinued G to boot too.

    ^^STEP son (OP said).

Any hoot - that ain't no 20 ft drop (only) that was abused WAY more than that, and possibly had some heat damage along with it. Sad to see a "King" die - as was said before, they are going to be harder to get (discontinued).
