They're totally different watches with different modules.

    G-7700:

    G-7510:

Do you mean the G-7710 instead of G-7510? Those are much more similar. I just checked and both of those have the 3095 module, so they're identical except for their outside appearance.

    Hi,
7700 is newer - and the functions are different.
    Check out the manuals:
    7700:
    http://ftp.casio.co.jp/pub/world_man.../en/qw3095.pdf
    7510:
    http://ftp.casio.co.jp/pub/world_man.../en/qw2943.pdf

Some more info on the G-7510:
    http://www.g-peopleland.com/G-7510.htm

I quite like the 7700/7710 - they are the only G-Shocks that have an alarm that can wake me up. The G-7800 has the same alarm also. It's kind of a polyphonic ring - like a cell phone almost and very loud.
And the 7700/7710 has the easiest to press and fastest responding buttons on any G-Shock I ever owned so far. It's also very slim and wears very comfortable. It also has a cool double timer with 99 hours duration for each timer - but they only work in a row and not seperately. Can't say much about the G-7510 'cause I never had one. The vibrating alarm seems quite useful. You could also check out the GL-7500 - similar case but with a moon/tide-graph.

    Greetings, Sedi

The 7700 is newer on the market.

    7700 can display dual time.
7500 has vibration. 7700 has flash alert.
7700 has 4 daily alarms plus 1 snooze. Alarms can be set for daily, weekly, weekday or weekend.
7500 has 3 daily alarms plus one snooze.
    7500 has data bank.
    7700 has two 100hr CTD.
    7500 has one 60min CTD.
    7700 has a 1/1000 STW.
    7500 has a 1/100 STW.
7500 STW is basic 24hr with lap times.
7700 STW can have up to 100 entries for each of two elapsed times.

I recommend going to the Casio website and reading up on the two modules. They are quite different.
