I won a Seaman in an auction with really bad pictures and no other bids. The watch came yesterday and I was surprised.
So surprised that I'm not sure my plan to immediately dye the thing is appropriate.
I'm not a collector, and this is a nice example of a W.C.C.S. seaman, DW-9950. It's a small titanium Froggie.
I had great fun taking it out of the original packaging but I need some reinforcement before I toss this baby in a pot of dye. It seems kind of rare.
What should I do with it? I'm considering the following options:
a) Dye it black and wear it! (fun)
b) Dye it blue and wear it! (fun)
c) Leave it unchanged and wear it! (fun: I don't mind the clear jelly, at least until it yellows)
d) Preserve it in the box for posterity. (not fun but maybe = PROFIT?!??)
