What do you guys think of this combination: GW-M5610BA-1JF + GW-M5610MD-7?

Since I can't find a reasonably-priced, easily-available white solar atomic square that I like, I'm thinking of making my own. What do you guys think of taking the GW-M5610BA-1JF as my base:

...and then adding a white bezel and strap, specifically from the GW-M5610MD-7:

I feel like the teal lettering and border on the dial will make for a nice pop of color.

Also, is it easy to swap out the bezel and strap? And is Consumer Electronic Parts and Accessories at PacParts, Inc. the best place to get these parts?

That would probably look cool. Will you change the letter coloring on the bezel as well?

Ooh, interesting idea--not sure I have the skills for that! I figured I'd leave it gray, though, as it seems to sort of match the majority of the text on the display (e.g., "Casio Multi Band 6").

I think that would look great - dead easy to do once you have sourced the parts and you have the knowledge that you made it and that you're unlikely to see another like it.

You will need a watchmaker's screwdriver set ($5-8) and a decent spring bar tool ($5-10). The first to remove the four small bezel screws and the latter to swap the straps.
Buy decent tools and they're last you a lifetime and are always handy to have.

Watch a few videos on YouTube to see what you're looking for and you'll be well away - I love making up my own combinations and painting the bezels to add a personal stamp on my watches.

Wow, that looks awesome! Does the LCD of the GW-M5610BA have kind of a blue tint? I can't really from the pics. Also, what bezel/strap is that from?

Yeah the background is blueish, the digits are black. I can't recall what the strap belongs to honestly. I think it was from a 6900 actually. I'll try to get the info.
