What do you guys think of the larger G-Shocks?

Im the kind of guy that likes a big watch, like the DW-6900, the old and new Riseman, Frogman models etc. Im curious what do you guys think of the new larger G-Shocks.

I have several 6900's and, IMHO, they're not all that big. Don't get me wrong here, they are definitely thick, they're just not as wide as their width measurements would have you believe. They wear about like my 44mm strap watches. My GF has a 50mm Russian Diver that makes my 6900's look pretty small, even thoug the 6900's technically measure 53mm x 50mm. Even my 48mm Nav-B looks much bigger than a 6900.

Bigger is BETTER Really I like big G's but the reason is not due to just being large I need bigger digits to see them easily. My eyes are not getting any better . Hey about 75% plus of the watches made I guess are 40 mm or less.

Anyway getting back to the point Invicta has very large diver style watches that have absolutely useless small hands whats the freaking point of having a large watch and putting small narrow hands on it

Got to add I love my PAG 80 its BIG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah totally agree with you there. They definitely don't wear as big as the dimensions on paper. Wears similar to my 42-44mm automatic divers.

I think if you're looking for a truly larger watch, the pathfinders and suunto's seem to fit that bill.

Yeah you guys are right but in relation to a 5600 a DW-6900 is huge, however a PAG40 is bigger than most G-Shocks out there.

some watches generally looks caked on your wrists, while others have a larger pressence due to their designs making them look chunky, and some just plain make your wrists look like a twig . For me it depends, the 6900's seem to have a good balance and weight tho.

I like larger G-shocks to. Theres something about the extra swagger I feel when I raise my wrist up to check the time. I can't explain it other than their size and appearance look and feel good on the wrist. (sorry for a lame answer).

Not a lame answer, bro' -- it's called "wrist presence," and it's a phenomenon that many of us have experienced!
