What happened to the 'Jason' re-issue?

    Hi,
when the pics of the new GX(W)-56 were released there were also some pics of a Jason re-issue prototype which - for me - was even more interesting than the GXW-56. Whatever happened to it? Does anybody know? Will it be released or not? And if so - what's the model number?

    Greetings, Sedi
    Cheers

I'll bet it comes out with the fall releases. Can't wait, don't want to spend uber amounts on the original when the new one's comin' out.

    Hi Sedi,

I think we have to have patience. Remember the "mock-up" photo's of a new Frogman coming out on Basel World. It took also a very long time before the real GWF-1000 was released.

I have sent a photo of the new Jason to someone at Casio Europe a few weeks ago. He was pretty surprised, since he hasn't seen this model yet.

My guess is October or November 2010, but it might be even later. This doesn't say that I don't want this watch. If it was released now, I would immediately go for one, although I hope that it will be reasonably priced (G-6900 price range).

    Cheers,

    Sjors

    Hi,
I hope you're right. So I'll just wait patiently . Too bad it doesn't have the thermometer function anymore - but I mainly want it for the looks. Being a horror movie fan and all, I need a 'Jason' .
