    What happened to my Riseman????

I put my watch in my pocket for about 30mins, when i took it out the screen was blank.

None of the buttons would activate the watch, there was a small C flashing in the bottom left corner next to the battery indicator. I wear this watch everyday and the battery is always full.

I then put it back on my wrist, next time i looked at it the watch has come back to life with all functions working and battery level full.

    any ideas?

Yes. The battery went almost totally dead. Their are 5 levels of battery power, and if the watch gets to the last level it shuts off everything and has a flashing c (c for 'charge'.) I'd keep your watch in the sun for a few hours to charge it back up to full. The battery life sensor is sometimes faulty and over-under-estimates itself, but it's good to keep the watch in sunlight.

    thank you

but very strange as i wear this watch everyday and would of thought they would of given it plenty of charge, even though i live in the UK :)

I wonder if its worth sending it in for a service and new battery as i need a watch that will work 100% of the time?

The charging is very slow, even under direct sunlight you'll need at least 2 days to fully charge the battery, solar watches don't really enjoy the wrist time as much as automatic watches do.

I had the exact same thing happen to me last summer after a day of swimming at the beach. I know the watch was at full charge because it's always in the sun... and because I'm a geek and pay attention to things like that. Had the flashing "c" for about an hour then back to life and never did it again. I have no idea what caused it.
