I'd just like to see it reenter production.

F temp is available on certain GW-400s. More tide zones would be cool...or a way to completely enter the tide time information so no matter where you live it would be programmed correctly.

Though...I confess...I have utterly no use for a tide graph, I still think they're cool.

Re: what happened to the silencer

The Silencer is one of the my two favourites!

    http://www.seiyajapan.com/product/G-...apan_Made.html

Seiya still sells them. I bought one from him about 1 month ago.

Definately one of my favourites. The tide information is far far superior to the other Gs because it GRAPHS the tide movement. Other Gs just give you an indication on a fixed curve whether it is coming-in or going-out.

As long as you live in the right area, it is very accurate (but of course due to the scale you cannot tell it is 2.63m precisely you could tell it is about 2.6m).

The vibration is a bit dodgy because you can only choose between sound or vibration (not both together). Odd!?

I think that's quite a bit more than I bought mine for when it first came out. eBay only looks to have one for sale too. They used to be pretty available for about $160 if I recall properly.

Re: what happened to the silencer

I'm really looking forward to some new Silencer models. They are very overdue for an update. Multiband 6 one would really make it a winner.
